Sounds aggressively like a pained tribalist.
Besides, you aren't making any sense.

I salute the Governor, but he must also the people of Eha-Amufu in Isi-Uzo L.G.A. This people seems to have been forgotten by Nigeria. There is absolutely nothing to show that Eha-Amufu is part of Nigeria. I call upon Governor Ugwuanyi to look into the plight of the Eha man. A people who asked for only access road in the 21st Century from their Government cannot be said to have asked much.

Oh yes I!!

Buhari with his Fashola 5% in the east must maintain their roads as the 5% refused to vote Buhari/Fashola APC.

In Nigeria, the federal roads in the east are shortest compared to other zones.
But federal government abandons eastern roads to remain worse no matter who is in power.

Buhari and his Fashola's 6% must keep on going.

The 5% people ed through the civil war, so what is Buhari's government hardship meant for the 5%?

But certainly, if in the last fifty years of oil boom the 75% has not used oil money to train their population to be far ahead of easterners, and develop their areas to be like New York city or London all the years they are in power, when are they going to do that? Never.

Good news from the Governor but very bad from the FG. All other roads in other parts of the country were penciled down for RECONSTRUCTION but the only two they manage to include from the southeast in the budget was instead penciled down for REHABILITATION. This is the reason why some youths are agitating for secession.
ALL STATE ROADS IN ANAMBRA ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL AND IN PERFECT CONDITION ONLY TO BE CONTAMINATED BY SO CALLED FG ROADS.

some of you Igbo sleep n wake up with foolishness. Please tell me which road construction is as daring or expensive as the second niger bridge in 2016 budget or which other region as been pencilled down for such ? Yet you do not see others wailing. Will the FG not pay back the the money spent on reconstructing the road.

Smart governor.

He has to ply those roads if he has to travel to his village just after Opi in Nsukka from the state capital. That Opi-Obollo end is simply a death trap. What we have there are no longer fit to be called potholes. They are full-fledged craters.

and one useless ngwa governor said Port Harcourt road Aba is a federal road, so for that reason he can't make it motorable for commuters, thief TA orji is the worst governor in the history of mankind, I'm still wondering why he still walk freely... I'm 100% against skeptic/selective witch hunting of PDP , but any day he query thief TA Orji to give of 196 months federal allocations he collected while in office as chief executive officer of Abia state , I will knw he is damn serious about his anti corruption war.... Enugu Govt. Approves Contract for Rehabilitation of 9th Mile, Opi-Obollo Afor FG Roads

...Upgrades IMT to degree-awarding institution

The Enugu State Executive Council has approved the award of contract for the rehabilitation of 18.5km federal government road along Opi-Obollo Afor, and additional works at Amalla and 9th Mile internal roads from Ekochin Junction-Mechanic Village junction, measuring 2.4km.

The contract was awarded to Reynolds Construction Company (RCC Nig Ltd) at the cost of N1,356,587,804.56k (One Billion, Three Hundred and Fifty Six Million, Eighty Hundred and Four Thousand, Eighty Six Kobo).

Briefing the press at the Government House, Enugu, after the council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Godwin Udeuhele, said that the award of the contract was consistent with the state government’s commitment towards improving the lives of the people by creating enabling environment for safe and smooth transportation in the state, especially during the forthcoming Yuletide.

He stated the council also approved the flag-off ceremonies at the various sites for the 25 road projects as well as buildings and water projects in the 17 Local Government Areas of the state, scheduled to hold on October 15.

The council also approved the upgrade of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) Enugu, to a degree-awarding institution in order to meet the educational, socio-political and economic needs of the State.

“In line with this decision,” the commissioner explained that “the council has directed the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Miletus Eze to draft a bill to be forwarded to the Enugu State House of Assembly for necessary action."

Udeuhele also noted that the council equally approved the amendment of Section 315 of the Criminal Code, pointing out that in addition to the regular punishment of imprisonment as provided in the extant law, the relevant section would include demolition of buildings where victims of kidnapping were held captive in order to serve as a deterrent to prospective perpetrators.

In an effort to enhance the aesthetic outlook of the capital city and reposition it for greater heights, the commissioner said that the council also approved the relocation of the Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO) to a new site that would be provided for it in due course.

ndi mmadu sef

1)2nd Niger bridge is PPP...

2) Enugu Onitsha expressway is about to be PPP though partly repaired under Jonathan...

3)This one is state to reconstruct and sit down waiting for ages for refund ...

Now drop roads or bridges under PPP in any part of Nigeria outside 5% region notwithstanding the gigantic cost of most of these roads wink

A nice one from the governor!
After reconstructing Oji-River and Ugwuoba old road, the state government should put solid metal barriers to stop heavy trucks from ing through the road. Just as was done on Trans- Ekulu - Opi road when Chime was the governor.

The heavy trucks can use the so called federal express road or look for alternative routes. Enugu state needs to link our communities with new asphalt roads. The governor should equally endeavour to include sidewalks on the new urban roads. I in particular is not happy the way Abakpa, Trans-Ekulu and Emene roads were built without sidewalks. Any modern city must have sidewalk on its roads.
