Daily Sun gathered that the nine derecognized schools did not present candidates for the ongoing May/June 2025 WASSCE. The candidates were taken to other schools to write the school examination.

Principal and Vice Principal of all the schools indicted must recieve official query from Lagos State Ministry of Education and face an investigative/ Disciplinary .

Any of the school Managers indicted must be sanctioned and reported to the EFCC and TRCN while indicted schools must pay fines to further serve as deterrent.
This is a huge indictment on the Lagos State Ministry of Education that regulates schools in Lagos State.

Furthermore, Lagos State Government must now set up a monitoring task force during these public exams before these exam malpractice merchants destroy our state educational system.



We can not sit idly and watch our schools become like the infamous miracle centre schools of Igboland that destroyed the secondary school system in Nigeria’s SouthEast. This pervasive culture of examination malpractice is completely alien to our Ọmọluabi culture and the unassailable nobility of our educational institutions.


I am so proud of my alma mater for not being on this hall of shame list.

Schools with malpractice are many. Your staff are corrupt. Are will you accredit school that don't have laboratory.

Come to Rivers state, you will see many private school doing malpractice. Pipeline, rumuokwurusi, port Harcourt.

The more we have more private schools springing across the nation,the more the EDUCATIONAL STANDARD is falling!

Nothing you say on this forum that ever makes sense! You are gas lighting all the products of those schools. I graduated from one of them in 1985 WAEC at the time way very credible, you dare not cheat. Prominent Nigerians also graduated from some of those schools years back. The problem of cheating is a problem all over Nigeria. So mind your comments.

Lagos state has the very best schools in the country through the cheating and malpractices is Nation wide all schools cheat

All the yahoo boys of early 2000s till around 2012 have become fathers and their children are in secondary schools
All the runs girls, aristos, olosho, nollywood prostitutes of those years now have their children in secondary schools
