I understand all you mentioned.... But in a society where's there are no jobs and the young ones need mentors and leaders... I guess men failed in that aspect.... I was in naija months ago and visited a man that had all young girls in his real estate company.... Hanging out in the evening, saw the same girls all dressed revealing along with his friends... I knew he was fvkin them... He's married for that matter... Men ought to be mentors and role models to these young girls... Not everything is all about fvckin, thus why I said failed society
The painful thing here is that these randy men disempowered men but empowered women of loose virtues for their sexual obsessions

Ok... It does not make sense for man of 35+ to be looking for a lady below 26.... Well from observation sha most older men just sleep with them.... Good example of failed society
Twenty years ago, most people of aged 35 are married with teenage kids. A man of 35+ may face compatibility issue with a lady of 26 years or below except he met her when he was much younger.
As for sleeping around (fun), men, irrespective of their age, generally desire younger women of 20-26.

GenZs are persons within the age bracket of 13 and 28. They are people born in 1997 and 2012.
Anybody above 28 is a millennial
Anyone below 13 but wasn't born in 2024 is a Gen Alpha

...As Nigeria youths laud Izunaso, Anyansi, Siasia's strong for tournament
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has finally given its approval and endorsement of the annual Sam Okwaraji Secondary Schools Soccer Championship.
The tournament which has already received the endorsement of the Senator Abdul Ningi led Senate Committee on Sports Developments Is an initiative of the Samuel OkwarajiFoundation
It is being organized to immortalize the late Imo-born Nigerian international who slumped and died at National Stadium Surulere, Lagos in August 1998, during a crucial FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Angola and return grassroot football development in the country. The maiden edition kicks off later this year.
Educated at an Italian University in Rome, Late Okwaraji"s commitment to the Nigeria national team symbolizes a true spirit of patriotism on the part of a Nigerian youth who prioritized service to his country above personal gains. His exemplary conduct and service to the Super Eagles (then known as the Green Eagles) will continue to remain a model for the Nigerian youth even in more decades to come.
The NFF in a letter signed by Ruth David on behalf of the Acting Director, Competitions, and addressed to the Sam Okwaraji Foundation, said its endorsement of the tournament was in recognition of the objectives and goals of the championship which would not only impact positively on the youths who are the participants, but also the development of football in the country.
NFF also appreciated the desire of the organizers to use the championship to contribute to the growth and development of youth football in the country with all the benefits accruing from such a competition.
NFF therefore advised theorganisers to stick to the extant rules of Football which it is the governing authority.
Meanwhile the Coalition of Nigeria Youth Leaders has applauded Senator Osita Izunaso representing Imo West senatorial district (Orlu Zone) where the late Sam Okwaraji hailed from, for his strong for the planned national tournament.
The group also hailed the NFF for approving and endorsing the tournament. They also lauded the Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Football Federation Chief Felix Anyansi for his role in ensuring the approval of the tournament and commitment to ensuring it’s success, describing him as a competent football .
The youth leaders, who called on corporate organizations to the initiative, commended the Nigeria Football Federation under the Ibrahim Gusau presidency for their foresight in approving the prestigious tournament.
In a release signed by …Ibem Goodluck, Comrade Adeyemo Adewale, Comrade Junaid Abubakar, Comrade Iniobong, President- General, Publicity Secretary, Secretary and Provost, respectively, the group highlighted the imperative to immortalisethe football legend, saying: "Sam Okwaraji was an uncommon patriot who deserves to be so immortalized, but beyond that, Nigeria needs a return to such grassroot soccer programs that we used to have in the past."
The group called on southeast leaders especially, the political leader to ensure the success of the tournament, notwithstanding the fact that the tournament is a pan-Nigeria football competition.
"It behoves more on political leaders from the south east led by the governors to ensure its success as it will resonate positively with youths from that zone...," the group added.
The youth leaders called on the National Sports Commission and President Bola Tinubu to make it a national event since football has proved to be a strong uniting factor in the Nigeria, aside being a multi-billion dollar venture globally.
"Ex-International, Samson Siasia who coincidentally was Okwaraji 's team mate and the last person to speak with the late footballer before breathing his last, is another wonderful Nigerian whom we learnt, has been working round the clock to ensure the success of the tournament and we commend him for his effort…,” the youth leaders concluded.

After months of suspense, governors elected on the platform of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), as well as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have formally recognized Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s national secretary.
THE AUTHORITY gathered that the decision by the governors to formally back Anyanwu was reached after the late Sunday night meeting of the governors at the Bauchi State governor’s lodge in Abuja.
Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, showed up at the meeting.
Prior to the meeting, it was further gathered, a former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, had earlier convened another meeting which had in attendance Wike and some PDP-elected governors. It was at the meeting that the attention of the governors was drawn to the the legal implications of failing to recognize Anyanwu.
For instance, noted a source privy to the meeting, “the attention of the governors was drawn to the sad reality that PDP would not be able to field a candidate for the next Anambra Stare governorship election slated for 8 November, 2025.”
The source, who is a party official, said “it was the urgency of the need to send the details of the PDP governorship candidate to INEC before the deadline, that prompted the governors to swallow their pride and allow Anyanwu co-sign the letter to INEC with acting chairman, Ambassador Umar Damagun.”
In the letter addressed to INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, PDP listed Ezenwafor Jude as its governorship candidate in Anambra state, with Hon. Okene Francis Chukwudi as his running mate. The letter was dated May 7, 2025, and bore reference number PDP/DOM/GF.2/VOL.13/24-065.
Meanwhile, the party national leadership last night chided National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, for issuing a statement claiming that the letter to INEC on its Anambra guber candidate was forged.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Nomination Form for the PDP candidate in the Anambra State governorship election was signed by the duly authorised signatories of the Party: the Acting National Chairman, Amb. Iliya Damagum, and the Acting National Secretary, Arch. Setonji Koshoedo,” Ologunagba wrote.
He said in the statement that the recent Supreme Court judgment affirming the primacy of political parties over their internal affairs enabled the NWC to instruct the Deputy National Secretary to serve in the capacity of National Secretary, in accordance with Section 36(2) of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017).
However, THE AUTHORITY gathered that the party leadership convened an emergency meeting Monday night and directed Ologunagba to retract the statement.
A national officer of the party from the Northwest confirmed to THE AUTHORITY that the letter to INEC co-signed by Damagun and Anyanwu was authentic.
Also speaking during a media chat seeies on Monday, Wike accused some PDP governors of working against the interest of the party.
He described the insistence by some PDP governors that Anyanwu be forced out as the party’s national secretary as being responsible for the gale of defections rocking the party.
Said Wike: “After the Supreme Court set aside the judgement that purportedly removed Sam Anyanwu as national secretary, instead of obeying the judgement they started dilly-dillaying, fully aware that these people (NWC ) are leaving in December.
“Why insist that Anyanwu must go before his tenure lapses? Why not remove yourself from this quagmire? The PDP Constitution says that all correspondences to INEC must be signed by the national chairman and national secretary. If you want PDP to survive, why not make sacrifices to make the party work. Why fall into temptation as an opposition party?”, quizzed Wike.
The minister said he was aware that the opposition towards Anyanwu was due to the national secretary’s relationship with him. He threatened to sue the party should there be any move to make any other official of the party other than Anyanwu sign documents of the PDP.
“Who issues notice of NEC meetings? If it is not Sam Anyanwu that signed the notice, we’ll challenge it in court. Sam Anyanwu is close to Wike. To them, that is an offence. I’ll not allow anybody close to me to be humiliated. Several things were agreed. Let’s see if they will implement it, else we will return to court,” Wike declared.

EXCLUSIVE: Governor Mbah Summon's Illegal PDP Southeast Zonal Executive Meeting, Fuels APC Defection Plot
Tensions are rising within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as reports emerge that Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, has summoned a meeting of the Southeast Zonal Executive Committee (ZEC) in apparent violation of the party’s constitution. The development comes amid growing speculation that the governor is planning to defect from the PDP after a failed attempt to unseat Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu as the party’s National Secretary.
According to Article 27(3) of the PDP Constitution, only the National Vice Chairman of a zone is authorized to convene a Zonal Executive Committee meeting. However, sources reveal that Governor Mbah, who holds no such position, has taken steps to organize the meeting himself, allegedly in collaboration with Chief Ali Odefa, the expelled former National Vice Chairman (Southeast).
Chief Odefa was expelled from the PDP in November 2024, a decision subsequently upheld by the Federal High Court in Abakaliki. Following his expulsion, both the National Legal Adviser and the Southeast Zonal Legal Adviser of the PDP issued a formal opinion confirming that Odefa is no longer a member of the party.
The planned meeting, reportedly disguised as an inauguration of of a “Mobilization Committee,” is scheduled to take place at 12 noon today at the Banquet Hall, Old Government Lodge, Enugu. Invitations sent to targeted were titled, “Appointment as of Mobilization Committee of PDP, South East Zone,” but party insiders say the true intent is to pressure party leaders into recognizing Mr. Setonji Koshoedo, the Deputy National Secretary, as Acting National Secretary—an action viewed as a direct affront to a Supreme Court ruling which reaffirmed Senator Anyanwu’s position.
Insiders further allege that the ultimate goal of this maneuver is to coerce the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC) and the recently constituted reform committee led by former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, into reversing the Supreme Court-backed recognition of Senator Anyanwu. However, sources close to Dr. Saraki suggest he is unlikely to endorse such a move, leading to heightened concerns over Governor Mbah’s political trajectory.
Governor Mbah’s defection plans reportedly intensified after the Enugu State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rejected his overtures to the party in April 2025, with the state chairman allegedly citing his poor performance as a reason for the rebuff.
In a statement issued Tuesday by the PDP Reformation Agenda, the group condemned the planned ZEC meeting and cautioned party leaders and against participating in what it described as an unconstitutional gathering.
“We urge Governor Mbah to prioritize the party’s interests and his political future by acting in accordance with its principles, and desist from this path of infamy,” the statement read.
The group, in the statement signed by its Director General, Mazi O. Chukwuebuka, also expressed full confidence in the ongoing reform process being overseen by Acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Damagum, National Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu, and Dr. Saraki, who chairs the Reformation Committee.
The committee is expected to steer the party toward a smooth National Executive Committee meeting on May 27 and a National Convention in August 2025.

Saraki: There is No Cause for Alarm, We’ll Reposition PDP
Following the development in the Delta State Chapter of our party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), I have been inundated with phone calls from leaders and of our party as well as various youths who have been active in promoting democracy and good governance in our country. Many of the callers want to know what my reaction is to the defection of top PDP leaders in Delta State and its impact on our party.
My view is that those who want to leave the PDP should leave now and let the rest of us who want to stay concentrate on rebuilding the party and refocusing it to play the role of a viable opposition that will provide a better alternative for the good people of Nigeria.
I am convinced that it is important for all Nigerians to work for the sustenance of democracy. And to sustain democracy, there must be viable choices for people at every point. Also, there must be a viable opposition to keep people’s hope alive and create credible alternatives to keep the government on its toes. A one-party state as being disingenuously designed by some people will not augur well for a multi-ethnic, multi-lingual, multi-cultural, multi-religious, and highly diversified society like ours. It is even more dangerous when we eliminate alternatives and make people hopeless.
Therefore, it is in the interest of Nigeria and the survival of our democracy for the opposition to be vibrant and strong enough with the capacity to replace the ruling party at any point. Thus, my charge to our party is that the PDP is merely experiencing a rebirth. Those who want to leave the party should go and let those of us remaining have a clear view of who we are talking to and where their political loyalty lies. All we need is for those who want to stay back in PDP to show commitment and we can all work to rebuild the party.
This development has vindicated the stance of people like me who have decided to remain silent and watch events unfold. I have seen that there was no sincerity with supposed leaders of the opposition. One was not sure of the next person one was talking to.
My appeal to PDP nationwide is that we should know that the sustenance of democracy is not a sprint. Rather, it is a marathon. It is not a knock-out football match series. It is a league. 24 hours is a long time in politics and nobody can predict how the dynamics will evolve in the coming weeks and months. That is why PDP across the country should not be discouraged, disillusioned, disappointed, or demoralised by the development in Delta State. We should stay strong and focus on strengthening the party. It is not necessary at this point to lament why they left.
Our party should also refrain from blaming our woes on the ruling party. That would be a lazy approach. They are playing politics to win elections. It is our responsibility as party to ignore their antics and seize the moment and momentum to make our party stronger and better.
Yes, it is unbecoming and shocking for the running mate to the standard bearer of a leading party to abandon ship to the ruling party. This is unprecedented and nobody should try to justify such an act with the talk of being put under pressure. It is simply a sign of how low we have sunk as a polity. The country is experiencing a collapse of leadership values.
These developments in the polity are the reason why I have always canvassed the idea that we should emphasize building and strengthening our institutions and not individuals. With the defection of the governor of Delta State, even if the party has only ten governors in its fold, the PDP is still in a good position to win the next round of elections..
Our numerous party should know that the PDP is better with fewer who are loyal, sincere, determined, dedicated, and committed to its ideas, ideals, and progress than to have so many who will identify with us in the afternoon and be romancing the ruling party in the night.
We still have about two years before the next election. That is a long time in politics. We have enough time to brace up to the challenge. There is nothing that prevents us from getting some governors from the other parties to our ranks. My appeal to our young party is that this defection is just a mere challenge to us to further mobilize and put our house in order. Also, our women's wing should seize the opportunity to help in the rebuilding mission. The PDP will come out stronger from this development.
I am very sure the various leadership organs of our party will soon make public their reaction to this development and convey the necessary meetings to strategize on how to strongly and strategically respond to it. Therefore there is no cause for alarm.
Our party should not lose focus, hope, or the determination to win. We should see the current development as a challenge to rebuild and refocus the party. Tomorrow is very bright.
Signed
Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, CON
Former Senate President and Waziri of Ilorin

The Abubakar Bukola Saraki Media Office has dismissed the content of a story published in a national newspaper in which the reporter purportedly claimed to have spoken to some unnamed associates of former Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and reported views he purportedly quoted to have been expressed during a meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders in Ilorin.
The Saraki Media Office while urging political associates of Saraki and of the public to disregard the fabrications and jaundiced views contained in the story also condemns the spin and manipulations that the opposition in Kwara State concocted from the story by manufacturing quotes alongside a graphic design of their own to create a fresh falsehood for circulation online.
“It should be noted that the reporter of the story quoted unnamed sources and faceless individuals who he claimed attended a meeting with Dr. Saraki. He also sought the opinions of people who he did not tell the detail of the story he wanted them to respond to.
“We believe his story came from his misconception of why Dr. Saraki has refused to associate with or comment on the ongoing efforts by some politicians to form a coalition. It is equally obvious that he simply decided to package as a news story the permutations, projections, and calculations of some individuals who believe they could proffer a reason for the quiet stance of the former Senate President.
“Anybody who has associated closely with Dr. Saraki will know that either in the public or private space, he does not speak carelessly and in a manner that can expose him to ridicule. He is always a careful and frugal speaker. The views expressed in that news story and the concocted graphic design in circulation do not represent the position of Dr. Saraki. He has nothing to do with them.
“We, therefore, call on well-meaning Nigerians to disregard and ignore the false claims contained either in the story published by the newspaper or the warped version of it being circulated online by elements of the opposition in Kwara State”, stated the Media Office.

THIS IS FAKE NEWS!!! HE NEVER ISSUED THIS
myqel: LIES - This information is pure lie, as the deputy National Publicity Secretary already denied it
RE: DISCLAIMER
I DID NOT ISSUE ANY DISCLAIMER ON THE TODAY;
My attention has just been drawn to a FRAUDULENT RELEASE on the above captioned subject wrought with typographies and technical inadequacies, purported to have emanated from me
In their desperate bid to present this narrative, the authors should have been courteous enough to at least intimate me of their presumed notion on my standpoint on this development
Of late,I have maintained a studied silence in the face of these legal imbroglio leading to the Supreme Court Judgment of yesterday(Friday,21st,March,2025. This is in deference to the Court,as the matter was then sub-judice. I had figured the need to maintain a political ambience devoid of contradictions, rancour, violence, and outrage
It was important to appreciate that even where Dist Sen Samuel Anyanwu triumphed at the Supreme Court,he would need the entire PDP family and their solidarity to succeed as National Secretary. This informed my cautiously guided intervention and disposition in the interest of the Party
For the avoidance of doubt,I NEITHER received NOR was I directed by the Ag National Chairman to issue such a DISCLAIMER
I hereby OUTRIGHTLY dissociate myself and the office of the DNPS from the RELEASE already making the rounds. It did not originate from me,and I did not sanction it.

Re- PDP NWC Thanks Supreme Court for Affirming Udeh Okoye as Nat'l Secretary
I am directed by the Acting National Chairman of the PDP, HE Amb Umar Iliya Damagun, to REFUTE a misleading statement issued by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon Debo Ologunagba shortly after Supreme Court delivered judgement in the case of Samuel Anyanwu Vs. Emmanuel Aniagu on Friday, March 21, 2025.
For the avoidance of doubt, the statement of Debo Olagunagba does not reflect the position of the PDP and the NWC respectively. The public should please disregard the falsehood. It is pertinent to inform the public that at no time did the Supreme Court recognize Hon Udeh Okoye as National Secretary, but only described him as an "impostor" while the appellant, Emmanuel Aniagu as a "meddlesome Interloper" respectively.
The NWC hereby distances itself from the CALCULATED FALSEHOOD aimed at achieving a predetermined objective, and to however, deceitfully mislead the public and PDP members
It is worrisome that the National Publicity Secretary has, of late embarked on a frolic of his own by taking EXTREME and CONTRADICTORY opinions against the collective resolve of the NWC with a view to undermining its authority
of the public, especially the PDP family, are hereby enjoyed to DISREGARD and DISCARD the publication, which is merely the figment of the NPS's imagination
So far, the National Working Committee of our party cannot disregard or make gist of the judgement of the highest court in the land, as it will continue uphold the decision of the court.

Saraki who spoke while reacting to the commencement of iftar meal sharing in some states of the federation by his Abubakar Bukola Saraki Foundation, said privileged individuals must endeavor to make the fasting season comfortable for the less privileged, especially because of the economic situation in the country.
As part of its annual tradition, the ABS Foundation is to commence the sharing of Iftar meals across selected mosques in Kwara, Niger, Borno, Kano and the federal capital territory, Abuja.
The ABS Foundation Ramadan Iftar programme is to run through the last 10 days of the holy month of fasting.
Hon. Musa Aliyu, the Regional Director, ABS Foundation, North Central, disclosed this in a statement released on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.
According to him, the foundation hopes to accommodate at least 100 people per mosque with over 50 mosques being targeted across Kwara State.
The iftar welfare programme will also hold at selected mosques in Niger, Borno, Kano and the FCT.
Aliyu added that the gesture, which is an annual practice, is to extend love to the Muslim Ummah, and ensure that the needy also participate in the fasting without any lack.
