What's going on in Nigerian governments isn't normal by any stretch of the imagination. Something is terribly wrong with these people. And then you read most comments on this Nairaland platform and you find that it's a more pervasive trend. The way we Nigerians reason as a people is very worrying. WE HAVE A PROBLEM. I never could have imagined how bad this is. But social media has exposed everyone and everything!

He should have used this opportunity to show that he's not a little, vindictive man. If his goal was to reward those who fought Abacha for democracy, who do you think is/was more deserving in that regard than Joe Okei Odumakin? That's a question for you and a question for your conscience if you have one! Thunderfayamods: |

Yinka Odumakin ke? Tinubu is a little, vindictive man. Nothing doing there because Odumakin was his arch critic until his death. The more reason why Odumakin's wife Joe-Okei was apparently overlooked. Agbegbaorogboye: 2 Likes |

Oh dear. Tinubu, by some of his actions lately - especially trying to turn Nigeria into a one-party dictatorship - has betrayed one and all who are named on this list. Chima Ubani and Bamidele Aturu will both be appalled & squirming in their caskets wondering what's going on with someone who pretended to be on their sides then but today embraces all the governance vices that they fought against.

There's always a guinea pig for religious hypocrisy. This woman suffered because someone wanted to use her blood to write a political statement.

It seems there's an evil spirit in hotels controlling Nigerian politicians. I hear that this governor is doing well allegedly. But even he himself couldn't hide from this hoteling evil spirit. In other words, what's the pact between these politicians and hotel business? And where else in this world are governments building hotels?

What this character is saying in a kurukere way is that they will use banditry to flush Tinubu out. If it worked against Goodluck Jonathan, why won't it work against Tinubu?

As someone who uses a couple of shares on the Nigerian stock exchange to assess economic sentiments, I can say categorically that what Buhari did to Nigeria in 8 years isn't the type to be easily forgiven or forgotten.

The only thing that jumped at me from this verbose response is that the lease agreement with BUA was entered in 2006 but it took until 2016 - that's 10 years later - for "discussions" on remedial work etc to start. What?

This isn't going to sleep a wink until he gets the monopoly he craves over petrol pricing in Nigeria. It should be clear already that most likely he was promised a monopoly before he entered this business. The way he's been moaning, I'm not sure he would have built a refinery knowing that it wasn't going to be a monopoly.

Who exactly is this fraud of a human being preaching to? As governor of Kaduna state, he caused in just 8 years horror on a scale the state would require up to 50 years to recover from, that's if it recovers at all! Yet this treacherous betrayer won't just keep quiet.

The mere fact that he looks scared is enough. Meanwhile, ranting or whatever else you call it, comes with legal consequences. You don't just rant for ranting sake or because you have a platform. You must defend every rant [on legal grounds] when called upon to do so. Broveens42: |

You'll never find a poorer looking "billionaire" ever! BTW: Having rendered "millionaire" irrelevant, Nigerians have quickly pivoted to "billionaire" to show that their obsession with status is no joke. 6 Likes 1 Share |

It's not true. This minister is lying through his teeth. It's not funding that's keeping Nigeria from achieving constant power supply. It's the corruption. Period! Ask this minister now what this funds would be for, he won't be able to articulate a coherent answer.
