What's going on in Nigerian governments isn't normal by any stretch of the imagination. Something is terribly wrong with these people. And then you read most comments on this Nairaland platform and you find that it's a more pervasive trend. The way we Nigerians reason as a people is very worrying. WE HAVE A PROBLEM. I never could have imagined how bad this is. But social media has exposed everyone and everything!

He should have used this opportunity to show that he's not a little, vindictive man. If his goal was to reward those who fought Abacha for democracy, who do you think is/was more deserving in that regard than Joe Okei Odumakin? I suspected they wanted to put Ayo Adebanjo or Yinka Odumakin and they mistakenly put Fasoranti since Tinubu is more aligned with the Fasoranti faction than late Pa Adebanjo's. It is also possible it is one busybody overzealous sycophant that went and removed Adebanjo's name and put Fasoranti under post-humous thinking he was doing the right thing

Nigeria is getting better life expectancy in Nigeria has actually risen from around 47 years in 2000 to about 56 years today, thanks to gradual improvements in healthcare access, awareness campaigns, and international programs.

As someone who uses a couple of shares on the Nigerian stock exchange to assess economic sentiments, I can say categorically that what Buhari did to Nigeria in 8 years isn't the type to be easily forgiven or forgotten.

The only thing that jumped at me from this verbose response is that the lease agreement with BUA was entered in 2006 but it took until 2016 - that's 10 years later - for "discussions" on remedial work etc to start. What?

This isn't going to sleep a wink until he gets the monopoly he craves over petrol pricing in Nigeria. It should be clear already that most likely he was promised a monopoly before he entered this business. The way he's been moaning, I'm not sure he would have built a refinery knowing that it wasn't going to be a monopoly.

Who exactly is this fraud of a human being preaching to? As governor of Kaduna state, he caused in just 8 years horror on a scale the state would require up to 50 years to recover from, that's if it recovers at all! Yet this treacherous betrayer won't just keep quiet.

The mere fact that he looks scared is enough. Meanwhile, ranting or whatever else you call it, comes with legal consequences. You don't just rant for ranting sake or because you have a platform. You must defend every rant [on legal grounds] when called upon to do so.
