I'm not sure recipients of these national honors are ed by the government before compiling their lists. This would've saved the federal government a lot of embarrassments.

That's a man like me. Women usually say I'm too tightfisted, but I don't care. I only care about what I have achieved for myself and my family. I do not come to this world to service the pockets of women.

Democratic governance in Nigeria is yet to get a sure footing. We are still at a developmental stage. But for this democracy to thrive and become fully fledged, we need to eradicate poverty and fix the rots in our educational systems. Poverty and ignorance is the reason people sell their votes and wrong candidates. They are the same reasons our leaders take us for granted.

Zonefree: Maybe you were probably living in cave that time when cabals in the presidency sidelined him. Even his wife cried out that her husband has been sidelined. Even Buhari's wife, Aisha, made a similar complain. Welcome back from the cave bro. You have probably stayed too far away from civilization, that's why you are not in tune with political events in recent years. ![]() ![]() 👇 https://www.timesng.com/news/top-news/259450-husband-treated-poorly-helping-apc-win-2015-elections-remi-tinubu.html 89 Likes 8 Shares |

I can still recollect how Tinubu was really sidelined during Buhari's era. Man was totally schemed out and he almost lost political relevance. Some people even predicted he was on his way out of APC to SDP. But here he is today, he is the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. This is a big lesson for those who care to learn from others.

There was similar occurrence in my neighborhood sometimes ago. The house was built by a Nigerian who resides in the United States. A tenant planted fetish objects inside the house with a dubious intention of inheriting the property. The owner eventually sold the house after he couldn't get rent from the tenant who had stayed there for over 5 years without paying anything. The new owner, while inspecting the house discovered a pot and pigeon buried inside the compound. The most surprising part of the story is that this same tenant that buried fetish objects inside another man's house is popularly known in the neighborhood as a pastor 🤥

heysquare: You mean the struggle for democracy was not for Igbos? Is that why Igbos were used by Abacha as oppositions against June 12 democratic struggle? I mean Igbo sons like Daniel kanu, Arthur nzeribe and others? .. in a nutshell, your argument does not hold any water. And by the way, my comment is about Mr Peter Obi, nobody mentioned Igbo but you. After all, Chief Anthony enahoro is Igbo and he was part and parcel of the struggle. There were other Igbos too in NADECO during that time. But Peter Obi, the same man claiming political activist today was nowhere to be found during June 12 struggle. This is not about Igbo, this is about a certain hypocrite called Obi. |

I've been saying this a million times. Put your house in order and stop blaming Tinubu for your party's problems. When you don't put your house in order, it is very easy for outsiders to come in and destroy everything. We should not forget that Jonathan and PDP also tried to scuttle APC when the party was formed in 2013, but APC survived because they really put their house in order.

Let's blame the opposition parties first. When you don't put your house in order, it is very easy for outsiders to come in and destroy everything. Jonathan and PDP tried to scuttle APC when the party was formed in 2013, but APC survived because they really put their house in order.

APC and PDP to me are not different from each other and none of them is really progressive in nature. APC is only a progressive party by name, not in any way by ideology. There are many progressive minded politicians in PDP just as we have lots of consuervatives in APC, the so-called progressive party. As far as I know, progressivism in Nigeria politics is not really about the party but the individuals.
